Libertarian blogger Freeman Hunt lists out some great movies for families with small children: More Great Movies for Young Kids. I would agree with most of the movies on her list -- and go further that her list is great for anyone interested in movies, not just folks with young children.
One movie that I do disagree with her about is Hondo. That is, in my humble opinion, the worst John Wayne movie ever made. It is a terrible movie. And I am a member of the John Wayne cult, by the way, so I don't say that lightly. But the rest of the movies she selects are, for the most part, very good and well worth watching.
